These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through this website. They set out your legal rights and obligations in relation to your purchases, including your 14-day statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and your statutory rights regarding faulty goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
1. Information About Us & Contact Details
This website is operated by Tee23 ("we", "us", "our"). We operate as an e-commerce retailer selling print-on-demand apparel and t-shirts to consumers in the UK only.
2. Business Model & Dropshipping Disclosure
2.1. We operate a print-on-demand / dropshipping fulfillment model. When you place an order, items are manufactured, printed, and dispatched directly from our verified third-party manufacturing partners located in the UK, EU, or internationally.
2.2. As the seller of record, we remain fully responsible to you under UK consumer law for order fulfillment, item quality, customer service, cancellations, and refunds.
3. Order Process & Formation of Contract
3.1. Order Placement: Placing an order on our store constitutes an offer to purchase goods. All orders are subject to acceptance by us.
3.2. Contract Formation: A legally binding contract between you and us is formed only when we send you a written Dispatch Confirmation Email confirming that your item has been printed and shipped.
3.3. Right to Refuse Orders: We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order prior to dispatch due to stock unavailability, pricing/description errors, or suspected fraudulent activity or resale. If your order is canceled, a full refund will be issued immediately.
4. Pricing, Payment & Taxes
4.1. All prices displayed on our website are in Pounds Sterling (£ GBP) and include UK Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable.
4.2. Delivery charges are calculated and clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
4.3. Payment must be made in full at the time of order via our approved payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Debit/Credit Card).
5. Standard Goods vs. Customised / Personalised Items
Important Classification Notice for Returns
Under UK Consumer Law, your cancellation rights depend on whether your item is classified as Standard Apparel or Customised/Personalised Apparel:
5.1. Standard Apparel: Pre-designed t-shirts offered in standard sizes without individual customization. These carry full 14-day statutory cancellation rights (see Clause 6).
5.2. Customised/Personalised Goods: T-shirts featuring custom uploaded photos, custom text, custom names, or bespoke modifications created specifically for you. In accordance with Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the 14-day right to cancel does not apply to bespoke or personalized items unless the product is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly printed.
6. Right to Cancel & Returns (Standard Goods)
6.1. 14-Day Cooling-Off Period: For standard, non-personalized t-shirts, you have the statutory right to cancel your contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
6.2. Cancellation Deadline: The cancellation period expires 14 days from the day on which you (or a designated third party) take physical possession of the goods.
6.3. Notification: To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g., via email to [support@yourdomain.co.uk]) before the 14-day period expires.
6.4. Return of Goods: You must send back the goods to our designated returns address no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation. Please contact support for the correct return address before posting, as items must not be returned to the manufacturer address without authorization.
6.5. Cost of Return Shipping: You will be responsible for paying the direct cost of returning standard goods unless the item is faulty or delivered in error.
6.6. Deductions / Condition: Returned items must be unwashed, unworn, and in original condition. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the items.
7. Refunds & Timing
7.1. We will issue a refund for returned standard goods within 14 days of receiving the returned items back (or receiving proof of return shipment).
7.2. Refunds will include standard outbound delivery charges (if paid). If you chose an expedited/express delivery option, we will only refund up to the cost of standard delivery.
7.3. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method used for the transaction.
8. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods (Consumer Rights Act 2015)
8.1. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all goods supplied must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
8.2. If your t-shirt arrives damaged, defective, with misprinted graphics, or in the wrong size/design compared to your order confirmation:
-
Within 30 Days of Delivery: You are entitled to an immediate full refund or a free replacement.
-
After 30 Days (Up to 6 Months): You are entitled to a free replacement or repair. If a replacement is unavailable or unsuccessful, you may request a full or partial refund.
8.3. Proof of Defect: To process faulty claims efficiently, we may request photographic evidence or video showing the defect, misprint, or damage alongside order details.
8.4. Return Costs for Faulty Goods: We will cover reasonable postage costs for returning faulty or incorrectly sent items, or provide a prepaid returns label.
9. Delivery & Shipping
9.1. Production & Delivery Times: As items are printed on demand, total fulfillment time consists of Production Time (1–4 business days) plus Shipping Time. Estimated delivery times provided at checkout are estimates and not guaranteed unless explicitly stated.
9.2. Maximum Delivery Period: Unless agreed otherwise, goods will be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 calendar days from the date the contract was formed.
9.3. Customs & Import Duties (International Orders): If ordering from outside the UK, orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, or clearance fees levied upon arrival in your country. You are responsible for paying these charges.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any statutory rights that cannot be excluded under UK law.
10.2. We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms, but we are not liable for any business loss (e.g., loss of profit, business interruption, or commercial opportunity) as our products are supplied strictly for domestic and private use.
11. Data Protection & Privacy
11.1. We process your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
11.2. Your personal details (e.g., shipping name, delivery address, phone number) will be securely transmitted to our print fulfillment partners strictly for the purpose of printing and delivering your order.
